Tank Tops and Camisoles

Two different garments share this department. The men's tank is the oversized tee with the sleeves taken off: same cotton, same acid wash, same room through the body. The women's tanks take the opposite idea, ribbed and close, with a built-in shelf bra and removable pads.

The built-in bra is light support. It is enough for a walk, a class and a day at a desk, and it is not a sports bra. Where a tank carries one, its page says so under Padding.

Camisoles come in packs of three, in lace or plain rib, and they are the layering piece under the sheer blouses in the tops department. A lace vest is a summer top on its own and shows what is under it.

None of these are cut for the gym in the technical sense. Cotton holds sweat rather than wicking it, and the acid wash is a look, not a treatment.
